2018 Christmas/Hanukkah Wish List Drive

The North Florida Office of the Public Guardian, Inc. (OPG), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is beginning its Ward Christmas/Hanukkah Wish List Drive for 2018.  Last year, your generosity in adopting ward (s) was greatly appreciated by our office and the wards.  As you know, we serve individuals who the courts appointed OPG to be their guardians and who are without family or funds.  Most of their wish items are for basic everyday clothing or entertainment.

We, the staff, are asking you to again consider adopting a ward for the 2018 Christmas/Hanukkah Season.  Furthermore, if you know of other individuals or organizations who would consider adopting a ward, please pass this message on to them or provide the contact information to me via information below.

The Office is having a “Wrapping Party” on Monday, December 3.  If you wish to drop off your donations, you may do so between now and Thursday, November 29.  This allows the staff the time to sort and make preparation for wrapping.  Our physical location is 1425 E, Piedmont Drive, Suite 201-B.  If you wish for the staff to shop for you, please provide your monetary donation by Tuesday, November 27. The office closes on Fridays at 1:00 PM.  Make your check payable to The North Florida Office of Public Guardian and identify in the Memo section, the Ward you have adopted.

Some individuals may want to do “partial” adoptions, please feel free to do so.

If you adopt a ward or purchase items for a ward, please place the ward ‘s# on the items donated as a means of assisting us in making sure the wards get the correct donated items.

Please feel free to share this info with your community partners.

Thank you very much for consideration and generosity.
